Eli Dixon, MS, brings a unique perspective to his work as a counseling candidate. He spent 4½ years at Restore Behavioral Health on the business side of the practice before his passion for helping others led him back to school to earn his Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mid-America Christian University. Eli also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Energy Management from the University of Oklahoma.
Eli works with children, teens, young adults, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges, communication difficulties, and boundaries. He believes counseling should be tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals.
Eli strives to create a safe, warm, and laid-back environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves. His style is personable and conversational, with an emphasis on empathy, encouragement, and genuine connection. Drawing from Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused approaches, Eli helps clients understand themselves better, recognize their strengths, and develop practical tools for navigating life’s challenges. For clients who desire it, he can also incorporate a faith-based perspective while respecting each person’s individual beliefs.
Eli considers it an honor to come alongside clients through the highs, lows, and transitions of life. Above all, he hopes to be a supportive presence where clients feel heard, understood, and encouraged as they work toward meaningful growth and change.
