Adults 18+

Life can change in an instant or through the slow accumulation of stress, grief, caregiving responsibilities, relationship challenges, and emotional exhaustion. Whether you are navigating trauma, loss, anxiety, burnout, identity shifts, or a major life transition, therapy can provide a space to slow down, make sense of your experiences, and reconnect with yourself.

I work with adults facing trauma, grief and loss, crime victimization, anxiety, depression, caregiver fatigue, relationship challenges, self-worth concerns, and life transitions. Many of my clients are helpers, caregivers, professionals, college students, and individuals who have spent years taking care of others while struggling to care for themselves. Together, we work to understand patterns that no longer serve you, strengthen emotional regulation skills, and build a life that feels more grounded, connected, and meaningful.

My background includes a PhD in Advanced Studies of Human Behavior from Capella University, a Master of Social Work from the University of Oklahoma, a Bachelor’s degree in Family Studies and Gerontology from Southern Nazarene University, and an Associate’s degree in Crime Victim/Survivor Services from Oklahoma State University–Oklahoma City. Prior to becoming a therapist, I spent more than twenty years working in grief education, higher education, advocacy, and victim services. These experiences continue to inform my understanding of resilience, healing, and the impact of trauma across the lifespan.

My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, relational, and collaborative. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, mindfulness, somatic and nervous-system-informed interventions, and relational approaches to support meaningful and lasting change. I am EMDR Basic Trained and incorporate EMDR-informed principles and interventions when clinically appropriate. I believe healing involves both insight and action while honoring the wisdom of the mind, body, and nervous system.

I have completed specialized training in psychedelic-assisted therapy preparation and integration through the Integrative Psychiatry Institute (IPI). This training informs my work with individuals who are exploring or participating in legal psychedelic-assisted treatment with qualified medical providers. Together, we focus on preparation, intention setting, emotional processing, meaning-making, and integrating insights into everyday life and lasting personal growth.

I do not prescribe, provide, administer, recommend, or facilitate access to psychedelic substances.

I strive to create a warm, affirming, and inclusive environment where clients can safely explore their experiences without judgment. I proudly provide LGBTQIA+ affirming care and welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. My goal is to help you strengthen self-trust, develop healthier relationships, establish meaningful boundaries, and move toward the life you want to create.

I currently offer in-person and telehealth appointments. If you are looking for a compassionate partner to support you through trauma, grief, life transitions, personal growth, or healing from difficult experiences, I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
