Children, Adolescents, and Young Adults (Ages 5-25)
Julia Norfolk, LCSW, RPT™ is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Registered Play Therapist™ who is passionate about helping children, teens, and young adults navigate life’s challenges in a safe and supportive environment. She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Oklahoma, graduating in May 2022.
Julia’s journey in helping youth began during her undergraduate practicum at the University of Oklahoma’s Southwest Prevention Center, where she facilitated support groups for kids and teens ages 10–17, focusing on preventing underage drinking and substance use. This experience inspired her to work with children and adolescents impacted by adults or peers struggling with substance or alcohol use.
During her graduate internship at Restore Behavioral Health, Julia further developed her expertise in providing individualized care, utilizing approaches such as Client-Centered Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trust-Based Relational Interventions, Solution-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Art Therapy techniques, and serving as a facilitator for Making Sense of Your Worth. She is dedicated to creating a safe space where every child feels heard, understood, and empowered to grow.
