Lia Heltzen, MCMHC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPC-C). She is committed to supporting individuals of all ages and from all walks of life through a whole-person, integrative approach that honors the emotional, physical, relational, and cultural dimensions of well-being.
Lia is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), allowing her to help clients process trauma, reduce distress, and build adaptive coping strategies. In addition to her clinical training, she is a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, which enriches her work with a holistic understanding of how lifestyle, nourishment, and mind-body practices influence mental health.
Collaboration is at the heart of Lia’s therapeutic style. You bring your lived experience, strengths, and goals. Lia brings tools, training, and a supportive space to explore what matters most to you. She partners with clients to clarify their goals, develop practical skills, and cultivate deeper self-awareness. Her aim is to create a warm, inclusive, and empowering environment where clients feel supported as they navigate challenges, access their strengths, and move toward meaningful, sustainable change.
For clients who desire it, Lia offers faith-integrated counseling that honors your beliefs and incorporates spiritual values into the healing process. This is always optional and guided entirely by your preferences.
Whether you’re seeking healing, clarity, new tools, or a space to explore who you are becoming, Lia is here to walk alongside you with compassion and a whole-person perspective—working together toward the change you wish to see.
