Children starting at age 8, Adolescents, College Students, Adults
Taylor Halbach, MCMHC, is a compassionate, nonjudgmental Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPC-C) in Oklahoma who works with children, teens, and adults. She creates a welcoming space where clients can slow down, understand their experiences, and move toward meaningful change. Taylor believes each person already carries the capacity for healing and authenticity, viewing therapy as a collaborative partnership—combining clients’ strengths with her guidance, insight, and support.
Taylor earned both her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (2025) and her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology (2022) from the University of Oklahoma. Her clinical background includes work with teens in a juvenile detention setting—focusing on teens’ issues related to poverty, self-esteem and practical life skills—as well as broad experience at Restore Behavioral Health, where she has supported clients of all ages with a wide range of goals, concerns and backgrounds.
Taylor uses an integrative therapeutic style, thoughtfully selecting approaches that fit each client’s needs from evidence-based practices, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), Person-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, mindfulness-informed methods, and existential perspectives. She also offers faith- or spirituality-integrated counseling upon request and is currently under supervision as she pursues EMDR certification. This flexibility allows her to address issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship/peer challenges, life transitions and the impact of past wounds.
Taylor is committed to providing an inclusive, respectful environment for clients of all identities, cultures, and backgrounds. She meets each person with empathy and steadiness, honoring the complexity of their stories.
Above all, Taylor aims to help clients feel seen and supported as they build insight, strengthen resilience, and develop tools that foster lasting emotional well-being.
